We have our UNICEF Day for Change on Thursday this week. This year UNICEF is thinking about children caught up in emergencies around the world and last week at Applegarth, we studied the impact of Typhoon Haiyan on children across the Philippines. For a donation of 50p, children can come to school wearing clothes to represent the weather!
Some suggestions include:
- Orange, yellow or bright clothes to represent Summer.
- Grey, white or pale colours to represent Winter.
- Sunglasses and a sun hat.
- A rain mac and wellington boots
