Pupils take Dignity Campaign to Charity HQ

Following media interest in last term’s Dignity Marathon, led by the Pupil Parliament at Applegarth Academy, a group of pupil representatives will be meeting with the charities WaterAid and Save The Children on Thursday 26th May. Our pupils will present their own questions to senior representatives regarding how charity advertising campaigns affect the dignity of children featured in them. BBC Radio London have once again asked to record this. We will let you know when this will be broadcasted on the radio nearer the time, when we are given further details. In the meantime, for your interest, the children’s most recent interviews with BBC Radio London are now available on the News page of the Applegarth Academy website.
